Anne Markowitz Recht, LMSW, CMC – CEO

Anne Markowitz Recht, LMSW, CMC is the founder and CEO of AMR Care Group. She has been a Care Manager since 2000. Anne is a former director of the Family and Children’s Guardianship Program and has held various administrative positions at other nonprofit organizations. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Albany and a Master of Social Work from Adelphi University. Anne is a Certified Care Manager by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers. She also completed Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program in 2016.

Anne has presented about various topics relating to aging issues for The New York State Bar Association, Women in Law Committee; The National Business Institute; Nassau Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers,The Aging Life Care Association as well as other professional groups. She has also presented for Guardian and Court Examiner training for the NY State Office of Guardianship. With a marketing background, Anne speaks on Social Media and business growth to her colleagues at ALCA (Aging Life Care Association) National and Regional meetings.

Anne is the recipient of the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation’s Outstanding Service Award for 2004, She is the is the President of the New York ALCA Chapter and is Vice Chair for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Long Island ChapterBoard of Trustees;

Maribeth joined AMR Care Group with more than 25 years’ experience in case management for seniors and those with mental illnesses. Her extensive experience includes medical social work, case management in a variety of health care settings, individual psychotherapy and group work. Maribeth received her Bachelor’s of Science in Family & Community Services and a Masters in Social Work with Certification in Gerontology from Syracuse University. She also completed a seminar on Hoarding from the Hoarding Disorder Institute.

Julia joined AMR Group with over 34 years’ experience in case management for seniors and disabled individuals. Her extensive experience includes medical social work, care management in home care programs and training and management experience. Julia received her Bachelor’s in Sociology, a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and a Post Master’s in Gerontology from Yeshiva University.

It is a true privilege to work with seniors, people with disabilities and their families. Learning about their varied background and achievements is enlightening. It’s rewarding to work with clients to maintain their dignity and independence. This is something AMR Care Group strives to do every day for every client.

In addition to helping her clients, Julia enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, watching foreign films and going to concerts.

Nicole interviews and hires our companions. She ensures we are hiring quality staff for our clients through thorough screenings, in-depth interviews and updated documents. Her attention to detail and organization has been a great asset to the onboarding and scheduling process. Nicole has been with AMR Care Group since March, 2017. She graduated from Suny Purchase with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
